About the Game
Big Fat Awesome House Party is a game based on the TV show Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. The game was developed by Powerful Robot Games for Cartoon Network. It released on May 15th, 2006. It was intended to run one year until April 16th, 2007, but it was extended to October 15th, 2007. After October, the game still received a few updates, but the updates were mostly quality of life changes with small amounts new content. This would last until June 15th, 2009, when the game ended.
The game starts with the player creating their own imaginary friend. There are three types of friends to choose from. Each type has different body parts and each part can have different colors. After the imaginary friend is created, there is a short animated sequence of the imaginary friend arriving to Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends on a bus. After the tutorial is finished, the player can begin exploring the house and other areas.
The overall goal of the game is to complete all the photo albums and all the adventures with Bloo to unlock the final adventure. To do this, finishing daily chores increases the citizenship bar. Once the citizenship bar is full, talking with Bloo will start a new adventure. Adventures and favors increase the popularity bar. Once the popularity bar is full, a mini game in the Arcade or the Game Hive Arcade can be unlocked. The mini games give out photos for the photo albums and other prizes.
